I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Essex (UK), where I am part of the Intelligent Environments Research Group (IEG) and the Immersive Education Lab (iEL) Additionally I am member of IEEE, ACM, BCS and ALT.
My PhD research focused on possible interactions within a Blended Reality Distributed Environment, with the aim to provide a platform to enable numerous real and virtual intelligent environments (across the world) to be connected together; changing perception of environments/spaces from one-dimensional (physical) to multi-dimensional (physical and virtual); and extending human capabilities into a computer-generated spaces able to reflect information in real time. In this research I was co-supervised by Prof. Vic Callaghan, Dr. Michael Gardner and Dr. Mohammed Alhaddad.
Previously I completed a MSc in Advanced Web Engineering at the University of Essex (UK) and a BEng in Information Technology at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (Mexico). I have several years of work experience in different finantial institutions in Mexico in the areas of web development and IT audit & security.
